Algorithm or logic tree is a one of the training method used in the problem solving and decision –making approaches. This is a logic –based approach which can be compared with a computer working programme, the decision-making is reduced to a yes no response. The algorithm is constructed in the form of flow chart which is used to facilitate progress through a correct course of actions or procedure. At strategic points in the flow chart, questions are posed requiring a yes / no answer. Which answer is given, the use is taken along the right path, at which stage another yes/ no response is posed. The principal advantage of this technique is that complicate factual descriptions of a procedure can be simplified and presented in a more easily comprehensive form. The algorithm can replace formal training , particularly if the subject is a standard procedure for which the occasions to use are frequent, and learning can be achieve to use are frequent, and learning can be achieved through self instruction. The learner follows the procedure using the algorithm until the process is understood and remembered. The steps of the algorithm are arranged in a logical progression which has usually been decided by a through job analysis.
