I am working as a senior executive HR in a software company. Our company is intending to hire a senior developer in the organisation. The proposed candidate will be working from home in flexible hours. In this situation , I would like to know which option would be better – a regular employment or a Consultancy based asssignment? If the consultant raises invoice monthly, will there be any service tax that the company has to pay towards the consultation?
